Seedha Kanoon provides general-purpose legal document templates and educational content for Indian founders, creators, and MSMEs. Every template is a starting point built for common, general situations — it is not, and cannot be, tailored advice for your specific facts, industry, or risk tolerance.

For any high-value transaction, or any situation involving genuine legal complexity, we recommend you have an enrolled advocate review your document before you sign it. A good template gets you most of the way there — the rest is what a qualified professional is for.

3. No individualised advice

Our free tools (the Contract Health Checklist and the "Find your template" quiz) provide general educational information only. They do not assess your specific contract, your specific situation, or provide any recommendation tailored to you individually. If a question you have requires knowing your specific facts to answer responsibly, that is a question for an enrolled advocate, not something we can safely answer through this website.

4. Intellectual property

All templates, checklists, quiz content, and educational material on this website are the intellectual property of Seedha Kanoon. When you purchase a template, you receive a licence to use that document for your own business purposes. You do not receive the right to resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly republish our templates or content, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent.

5. Accuracy and verification

We research and verify every template against current Indian law through a documented, multi-pass process. We are honest, however, about the limits of this: laws change, our verification reflects a point in time, and we flag genuine legal uncertainty directly in our documents rather than presenting an uncertain position as settled fact. We do not guarantee that any template is fully current at the moment you use it — check the template's own verification notes, and consult a professional where the stakes justify it.
